What does a Blind Barrels membership include?+
Every even month, a premium tasting box will ship to Blind Barrels members, which includes four 50 mL samples, labeled Samples A, B, C, and D. The box will also include an introduction to the club, a tasting table, and a QR Code and link to learn what spirits are in each sample - distillery, mash, abv, tasting notes, distillery back story.
If a member discovers a new whiskey they wish to add to their cabinet or share with their friends, shipping discounts are available for full bottle purchases in our Bottle Shop.
Members will have access to rare offerings from Craft distilleries, including rare and limited selections from American craft distilleries.
When do my membership and benefits renew?+
You choose your renewal period when you first join Blind Barrels, either bi-monthly or annually. In both cases membership benefits are assigned to your account on a quarterly basis. You can find your next renewal date on your membership profile page.
Because Blind Barrels limits the number of subscribers and each box is unique, we have limited inventory, so each renewal is billed one month before a shipment. In the event of a subscriber canceling, this allows time for someone from our waitlist to take one of the limited spots as they become available.
Where can you ship?+
At the moment we ship to California, but you can enter your email and state HERE to be at the top of this for when we expand into your state. An adult signature is required with each shipment, so business addresses are preferred.
What if nobody is present to sign for the shipment?+
Our shipper will make 3 attempts to deliver and receive an adult signature. If these attempts fail, we will make one more attempt at shipment to a business address. If a subscriber continues to not sign
Where do you ship from and how long will it take to arrive?+
Our shipments are mailed from Southern California with Next Day shipping. All bottle purchases may take 3 to 10 business days for delivery, depending on availability of spirits.
Is shipping included in the subscription?+
Each membership includes free shipping on all tasting boxes. Bottle purchases have shipping discounts that depend on the volume of bottles. 1 bottle is $5 off shipping. 2 bottles is $10 off shipping. 3 or more bottles - shipping will be included in the purchase.
What are the prices for full size bottles?+
The retail price on our bottles are the same price you would find if you visited the distillery yourself, generally ranging from $30 to $100, depending on the distillery.
Is Whiskey the only option?+
We plan on adding a tequila/agave line-up down the round. Click HERE if you would like to be added to our waitlist for our tequila/agave club.
What do I do if goods arrive damaged?+
Our packaging and bottles were specifically designed to prevent such an occurrence. But in the rare event that your bottles were damaged in the shipment’s transit, please notify us immediately at support@blindbarrels.com.
Please be sure to attach a photo of the damaged shipment, and we will do our best to resolve the damaged product.
