Boss Hog XII: Feather and Flame might be one of their boldest creations yet. Bottled at barrel strength, this rye is finished in rare pulque curado de cacao barrels, adding an entirely new dimension without ever losing sight of what makes great rye so special. I love whiskeys that take a big swing and actually pull it off, and this is one of them. It is creative, unique, and unlike anything else we've poured in a Blind Barrels lineup.

On the nose, you'll find dark chocolate, candied orange, honey, toasted oak, and warm baking spices. The first sip brings rich cocoa, caramel, citrus zest, cinnamon, roasted nuts, and bold rye spice before finishing with layers of chocolate, cracked pepper, oak, and an earthy sweetness that keeps unfolding long after the sip is over. The cacao barrel influence is unmistakable, but it never steals the show. Instead, it elevates the rye into something truly memorable.
